History
At the age of seven, I was perched on my father's lap at the kitchen table, as he unrolled the blueprints for our new house. I stared at the array of lines while he explained how each mark revealed something about the yet unbuilt house.
Later, with the air full of the aroma of frsh cut lumber, he walked me through the rows of studs defining my bedroom walls, the closet recess, and my window. Suddenly it clicked. I understood those two-dimensional drawings in three dimensions. I've been designing homes ever since!
